What is the difference between men's dance shoes and women's?

I just bought a pair of ballet shoes and i%26#039;m looking into a pair of tap shoes and a new pair of jazz shoes. But here%26#039;s the thing, i%26#039;m fairly new to dance and I%26#039;m just trying to figure it out. The technical things

Like I%26#039;m having trouble telling which ballet shoes goes on which foot. and things like that

but I would mainly like to know if there are any differences besides things like high heels and pointe.

What is the difference between men%26#039;s dance shoes and women%26#039;s?
For ballet slippers there is no right or left foot. They are completely the same when new. (the only exception is some of the new ones like Capezio%26#039;s Daisy ballet slippers and with those you will know which is R and L)) Once you have worn them a few times they have stretched and formed to your feet, then you will tell which one you have worn on the right and which on you have worn on the left.

Other than that, there is not much difference between girls and guys ballet or jazz shoes.
Reply:I dunno they all look the same to me as well.
Reply:Men don%26#039;t wear high heels.
Reply:ur u gay? so then if ur gay then there is no dif. 4 u
Reply:Ok when you put a ballet shoe look inside and look for the little curve implying the arch and match that to foot or once you figure out which is which then you write on the inside left and right. It confused me what feet to put them on too! Men%26#039;s shoes are usually bigger and sometimes a diferent style like Some Men%26#039;s tap shoes have the white on the sides then black! Men%26#039;s shoes are built stronger cus you do jumps turns lifts.high heels are for ballroom dancing and aren%26#039;t on your tippy toes and pointe is like a form of ballet that you dance on the very tip of your toes! If you need more help then keep asking! I hope that I helped you!
